Plain Cardigan
Everyone needs a basic layering piece and this one has been my go-to cardigan ever since I finished it. Boxy shape with minimal details are all you need for this Plain Cardigan. The woolen spun Shelter yarn will make this cardigan perfectly lightweight and rustic.

The cardigan is worked from top down!
MATERIALS
Yarn: 7 (8, 8, 9, 9, 10) skeins of Shelter by Brooklyn Tweed. Approx. 950 (1020, 1100, 1180, 1260, 1350) yards / 870 (930, 1000, 1080, 1150, 1230) meters of worsted weight yarn. The sample was knit in colorway Soot.
Needles: US 8 (5 mm) and US 6 (4 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long or longer, and dpns in same size sizes if not using magic loop method for small circumference knitting.
SIZING
Finished chest circumference: 38 (42, 46, 50, 54, 58)” / 95 (105, 115, 125, 135, 145) cm. Choose a size with approx. 6” (15 cm) of positive ease.
GAUGE
18 stitches and 26 rows = 10 cm in Stockinette stitch using larger needle, after blocking.
