This lovely tunic sweater is the perfect over layer and companion for every hike and outside adventure.
The chunky weight yarn makes this a quick knit but the lovely light properties of Brooklyn Tweed Quarry keep this garment light and ideal for all occasions.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Quarry by Brooklyn Tweed. Approx. 1080 (1160, 1280, 1410, 1540, 1660) yards / 990 (1060, 1170, 1290, 1410, 1520) meters of chunky weight yarn. The sample was knit in size small and in colorway Obsidian.
Needles: US 10 (6 mm) and US 8 (5 mm) circular needle, 32” (80 cm) long, and dpns. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
SIZING
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
Finished chest circumference: 36 (40, 44, 48, 52, 56)” / 90 (100, 110, 120,130, 140) cm. Choose a size with approx. 4-6” (10-15 cm) of positive ease.
GAUGE
12 stitches and 18 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Stockinette stitch, using larger needles, after blocking.
