This gem of a cardigan goes with almost anything and works on every occasion: from formal office to cozy evening at home to a fun night out!
MATERIALS
Yarn: 9 (10, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17) skeins of Luft by Woolfolk (55% Merino, 45% Organic Pima Cotton; 109 yards (100 meters) per 50g). Approx. 980 (1100, 1210, 1320, 1450,1570, 1700) yards / 900 (1000, 1100, 1210, 1330, 1440, 1560) meters of bulky weight yarn. The sample was knit in size medium and in colorway L6, heather gray.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) and US 2½ (3 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long or longer, and dpns in same size sizes if not using magic loop method for small circumference knitting.
Other: Stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle and blocking aids.
SIZING
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
Finished width of the back: 15 (17, 19, 21, 23, 25)” / 38 (43, 48, 53, 58, 63) cm. Choose a size with a small amount of positive ease to no ease.
GAUGE
22 stitches and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in reverse Stockinette stitch, using larger needles, after blocking.
