Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? In Kuvastin (Mirror) Socks the lace pattern is mirrored, only changing slightly for the back of the leg. The rustic look of Tuku Sock is the perfect yarn for this lovely feminine design.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 (3) skeins of Tuku Wool Sock (80% wool, 20% nylon; 175 yards [160 meters] / 50g). Approx. 350 (440) yards [320 (400) meters] of sport weight sock yarn. Note: You might need the third skein for the smaller size also, if shoe size is over US 8½ (European size 39). Sample socks are knit in size 1 and in colorway 02, Humu.
Needles: US 1½ (2.5 mm) and US 0 (2 mm) dpns or circular needle, if you are using magic loop technique. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
SIZING

Finished circumference of foot: 20 (23) cm.
GAUGE
28 sts and 36 rounds = 4” (10 cm) of Stockinette stitch, using larger needles, after blocking.
