MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of Merino Single by Wool Me Once Fibers. Approx. 740 yds (680 m) of fingering weight yarn, 370 yds (340 m) in each MC and CC. The sample shawl is knitted in colors Tyyni (MC, blue) and Satama (CC, coral).
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) circular needles, 32” 80 cm long or longer. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
SIZING
One Size
Measurements of the finished shawl: Approx. 61” (155 cm) wingspan, measured from end to end in a straight line above curved edge and 23” (58 cm) deep at deepest point.
GAUGE
18 stitches and 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch, after blocking.
