Lempi Cardigan is quickly knitted in this lovely brushed alpaca.
MATERIALS
Yarn: Yarn: 6 (6, 7, 7, 8) (8, 9, 10) skeins of Børstet Alpakka by Sandnes Garn. Approx. 630 (710, 770, 840, 890) (960, 1040, 1150) yards / 580 (650, 710, 770, 820) (880, 950, 1050) meters of bulky weight yarn. The sample was knit in size medium and in colorway 3522 (dusty pink).
Needles: US 10 (6 mm) and US 8 (5 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long or longer, and dpns in same size sizes if not using magic loop method for small circumference knitting.
SIZING
Finished chest circumference: 38 (42, 46, 50, 54) (58, 62, 66)” / 95 (105, 115, 125, 135) (145, 155, 165) cm, with overlapping fronts. Choose a size with approx. 4-6” (10-15 cm) of positive ease.
GAUGE
16 stitches and 20 rows = 10 cm in Stockinette stitch using larger needle, after blocking.
