MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of Merino/Silk/Yak Singles by Norne Yarn (65% Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Yak; 525 yards (480 meters) / 120g). Approx. 1050 yards [960 meters] of fingering weight yarn; 525 yards [480 meters] in each color. The sample was knit in colorways Feigdfugl (grey) and Bergtatt (pale pink).
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) circular needles, 32” 80 cm long or longer. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
SIZING
One Size
Measurements of the finished shawl: Approx. 80” (203 cm) wingspan, measured from end to end in a straight line above curved top edge, and 28” (70 cm) deep at deepest point.
GAUGE
18 stitches and 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch, after blocking.
