Popsicle Sweater

Oh what a happy Friday! This is a day I’ve been waiting for, because today is the day I can finally share the Popsicle Sweater with you all! I’m so excited!

This is one of those designs, that I just knew from the start is going to be one of my favourites. And a big time favourite at that! The colours, the fit, the look and the lovely relaxed knitting experience. All the pieces of the puzzle just seemed to line up perfectly for this lovely sweater, without any glitches on the way.

Popsicle Sweater is designed in collaboration with Botanical Yarn. I always love to collaborate with Sophie, because I love her colours so much! And she’s just the most cheerful and lovely person. If you ever want to cheer yourself up with a lovely colours, I can highly recommend Botanical Yarn.

Popsicle sweater is a simple round yoke sweater with a pop of stranded colourwork in the yoke section. It’s worked from the top down in one piece and it’s the perfect swear to use your mini skeins! You can also use any little leftovers for the colourwork, as it doesn’t take too much of a single colour. I designed this to be quite a relaxed sweater, with plenty of positive ease. If you feel it’s too much ease, go down a size.

This sweater is especially designed to be released for the Unravel Festival and I couldn’t be any happier about it! I have attended Unravel a few years back and loved the experience. Sadly I’m not there this year in person, but at least my sweater design is there and that makes me so very happy. If you have the chance to go there, please do. You won’t regret it!
