All you need for this all garter stitch shawl is some simple ingredients - your favourite colours and stripes. Unusual shape makes it interesting to knit and to wear.
The triangle shawl is worked from top down.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 1 skein of The Uncommon Thread BFL Sock and 1 skein of Hopeasäie Sukka, or approx. 800 meters (880 yards) of other fingering weight/4 ply yarn. Approx. 400 meters (440 yards) of each color.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) circular needles, 32” (80 cm) long or longer.
SIZING
One size: 160 cm/63” wide and 68 cm/27” long at centre spine. The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size.
GAUGE
20 stitches and 40 rows = 10 cm in Garter stitch, after blocking.
